1. Take notes. Many people do not know exactly what their bets, winnings and losses. Try to take down as many notes about your poker games as you can. Correct data is really important to give you a general idea about your strengths en weaknesses.

2. Game Selection. Overt time you might get a bit bored with your favorite game. Don’t be afraid to try out new variations. However, if you switch to a new type of game then you should remember to play at lower stakes than you’re used to, because it takes to time to adjust yourself to new rules and dynamics.

3. Don’t overestimate yourself. It is completely understandable that you impatient and eager to improve as quickly as possible, but going too fast will only cause you to lose your money before you can say ‘bankroll’.
